New Paragraph
The Shepherd’s Hand is not simply a “business” with “staff” who do all the work. Rather we
are a community of servants—a few employed and the vast majority volunteering—who
offer ourselves as we are able to help those who are perhaps have less ability to access
basic needs.
- Serve food, wash dishes, or fold laundry
- Sit and talk with guests, perhaps sponsoring a Bible study
- Sort donations or organize the facility
- Help people fill out application forms for housing, sobriety treatment, or other services
- And much more – We have lots of creative friends!
To make an application to volunteer, just call 970-275-7215
or drop by 505 S. 2nd Street Montrose, CO and pick up a volunteer application packet.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
